Privacy Policy

If you do not touch the chat bubble, nothing. There is no login, no contact form, no analytics and no advertising tracker on this site, and we do not build a profile on you.

If you do open the chat and write to us, we receive what you choose to send: your message, and whatever contact details you give us, such as your name, phone number or email. We use them to answer you and to serve you, and for nothing else.

The chat is provided by LeadConnector, a product of HighLevel. When you open it, your conversation and any contact details you enter are processed by HighLevel on our behalf so that we can read and reply to your message. It may set cookies on your device in order to keep track of your conversation.

If you would rather not use it, do not open it, and it will collect nothing about you. You can always call us at (682) 323-4651 or walk in instead.

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address and browser details to deliver the page and to protect against attacks. We do not use those logs to identify you and we do not receive a report about you.

Our typefaces load from Google Fonts. That means your browser contacts Google's servers, and Google receives your IP address in the process. We do not send Google anything else, and we get nothing back. If you would rather this not happen, a content blocker will stop it and the site will still work in a fallback typeface.

The "Order" links leave this site for an ordering page operated by Square. Anything you type there — your name, phone number, payment details — goes to Square under Square's own privacy policy. We see only what we need to cook and hand you your food.

Our listing, reviews and directions live on Google's services under Google's privacy policy. Clicking a map or directions link on this site sends you to Google. We can read our public reviews, the same as you can.

If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive text messages — in the chat on this site, in the restaurant, or when you place an order — we use it only to send the messages you asked for. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help.

We will never share or sell your mobile information, or your text-message opt-in and consent, to third parties or lead generators for marketing or promotional purposes at any time. If we use a service provider to actually deliver the messages, they may only handle your number in order to send them, and for nothing else.

Opting out of text messages does not affect your ability to order from us or to be served in the restaurant.

This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything from them. If a child has written to us through the chat, tell us and we will delete it.

Texas residents have rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act to access, correct, delete and obtain a copy of personal data a business holds about them, and to opt out of targeted advertising and sale of personal data.

We do not collect personal data through this website, do not sell personal data, and do not use it for targeted advertising, so in practice there is nothing here for us to hand over or delete. If you believe we hold something about you, write to hello@pdacaribbeanmarket.com and we will look.

If we ever add a form, a booking tool or analytics, we will update this page before we turn it on. The date at the top tells you when it last changed.
